Dear friend in Christ,
I hope you are doing well. I am Sam Rose, the Anglican Diocesan Bishop of Eastern Newfoundland & Labrador in Canada. I am writing to inform you that I have come into possession of an Altar Missal from St. Mark's Church, New Swindon, dated 1845. This Missal, a significant part of your church's history, came into my possession when one of my parishioners dropped it off. He said that he received it from his father in the 1950s in Newfoundland but has no idea how his father initially received it. He is in his late 80s and wishes it had returned to St. Mark’s Church in New Swindon.
I believe this book rightfully belongs to your church, and I would like to initiate the process of returning it to you. Please provide guidance on how to proceed. I am happy to cover any shipping costs and ensure the Alta Missal is returned safely. I've attached a photo of the cover.
Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter. I look forward to hearing back from you.
Advent blessings,
+Sam
