Congratulations to Fr Tim and Lois as they celebrate their first wedding anniversary today. Our next priest to be ordained is Timothy Davies to serve the benefice of Swindon New Town.

"I remember that at last year’s ordination, Bishop Paul spoke movingly during his
homily about how my life as a deacon would be a continual cycle of being in the
temple and then going out into the people. The worshipping of Almighty God and
then going out into the people, to be with them, has been the foundation of what my
ministry has been based on. This shall not stop after priestly ordination, but continue
to fuel and ground me.

I am very excited for this next step in my continuing vocation, in my continuing ‘yes’
to Him who has called me. To be a priest in God’s Church, to celebrate the sacraments, will, and shall always be, a thing most dear to me. Whilst I am totally unworthy, I shall strive to be a faithful servant and shepherd."
